| Job Description: | My client has opportunities for significant expansion to meet the strong impetus for growth within the commercial, retail, industrial and housing sectors. The company operates from state of the art open plan offices which include a restaurant and staff parking. Based in Hertfordshire, they are close to a mainline Railway station and within easy access of motorway links. They currently require a: SENIOR INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER Ideal candidates for the Senior Infrastructure Engineer position will have upwards of five years experience with an aspiration to gain Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status. You will have experience in road and drainage design with a working knowledge of UK design standards, together with the ability to balance several projects and meet project timetables. The majority of my client's workload is related to industrial and retail development, and the development infrastructure associated with them, therefore this role is more likely suited to someone with experience in these sectors, rather than design of roads and drainage related to major highways schemes. Candidates should have private sector experience and a working knowledge in the use of either PDS or Mx, together with Autotrack, Microdrainage and Autocad. The successful candidate would be encouraged to manage projects, attend meetings and liaise with client, design team and third party representatives. Proven reporting and communication skills will be required. A competitive salary is offered, which is negotiable depending on the individual's ability / experience etc., but likely to be in the region of £28-33,000 p.a.
