Job Description:

Our client is a well established and respected firm of civil and structural consulting engineers based in Essex. They have an impressive future workload and as a result are looking to strengthen their existing team with the appointment of several key members of staff.

They require a Senior Structural Engineer. Reporting to an Associate Director, the ideal candidate will have as many of the following attributes as possible :

- achieved Chartered status.
- considerable UK consultancy experience
- a strong technical design ability, using all common building materials.
- capability of running your own projects from inception to completion.
- ability to give guidance and mentoring to more junior members of the team
- be a strong team player

You can expect to work on some exciting schemes, predominantly, but not exclusively in the housing sector. This position provides excellent prospects for continued career advancement. The salary is negotiable depending on the individual's skills and experience, but is likely to be in the region of £35-45,000 p.a. + benefits.
