Our client is a well established and respected firm of civil and structural consulting engineers based in Essex. They have an impressive future workload and as a result are looking to strengthen their existing team with the appointment of several key members of staff.

They require a Structural Engineering CAD Technician who is proficient in the use of AutoCAD 2002 or higher, and have a good working knowledge of structural general arrangement drawings and construction details.

You can expect to work on some exciting schemes, predominantly in the housing sector and will receive training on Finite Element Analysis software in order to assist Design Engineers. This position provides excellent prospects for continued career advancement. The salary is negotiable depending on the individual's skills, but is likely to be in the region of £24-30,000 p.a. + benefits.
