Vacancies for Building Structures

Our client is a medium sized building structures consultancy based in Central London. They have gained an enviable reputation within the industry and as a result have an extremely healthy future workload. They seek to appoint an additional Building Structures Project Engineer to join their dedicated team.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced, confident clear thinking Engineer who is looking to manage their own projects. You are likely to be recently Chartered or nearing Chartered status with wide and varied building structures design experience. Ideally you will possess as many of the following skills

- Conceptual design
- Detailed design of reinforced concrete, timber, steelwork & masonry.
- Design of Glass structures
- Steelwork connection design and detailing
- Temporary works design
- Good verbal communication
- Good report and letter writing ability
- Site Inspections and surveys
- Sketching of construction details
- A willingness to explore new areas of work
- Decision making ability

Our client offers a friendly working environment, a competitive salary (negotiable depending on the individual, but likely to be in the region of £37-44,000 p.a.) together with a comprehensive benefits package.
