This established and respected Structural / Civil design consultancy based in North Essex are expanding and looking to add quality Engineers to their team. They have been busy winning a wide range of prestigious schemes including residential, mixed use, leisure etc.
As a result, they are offering an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Engineer with around 1-2 years experience in a UK consultancy to join their successful department. Your role will be to assist more senior Engineers in the design of exciting Structural projects, but you will be given the opportunity to take on more and more responsibility as your experience grows.
This position would be suitable for a graduate with a a good degree in civil engineering (ideally a 2:1 or better) with 1+ years industry experience. You will have a flair for Structural design in all common materials and have a desire to forge a career in building structures design. Our client will provide excellent ongoing training and will help you pursue your route to become a Chartered Engineer.
For the right candidate to fill the role, our client is looking for someone that will fit in well within a team, has good communication skills, but perhaps most importantly possesses enthusiasm & personality.
A competitive salary will be offered which will be negotiable depending on experience / ability etc., but likely to be in the region of £28-35,000 p.a.
