Our client is a highly regarded multi office firm of Consulting Engineers. They have a strong presence in the Home Counties and are looking to appoint additional staff in their busy Oxfordshire office.
You will have a BEng or MEng Civil / Structural Engineering or Engineering Design and 3 or more years’ commercial experience and be a member of the relevant body such as the IStructE. You will probably be working towards chartership. Our client is keen to encourage professional development and will support you to achieve chartered status.
You should have experience in building structures, and will have designed to Eurocodes and to current industry standards, including design software analysis capabilities. You will need a breadth of experience across all sectors and design in all common materials is a must. Your role will particularly involve the housing sector so a background in residential development is preferred.
You will be a self starter and have excellent communication and organisation skills. You will be a good team player who will enjoy working as part of our experienced team.
This role offers a competitive starting salary (negotiable depending on the individual's ability / level of experience etc.), the chance to progress within the company and train towards chartership with the IStructE together with a company pension.
